Calculate temperature development in tankMany different factors affect the temperature development in a hydraulic oil tank. The calculations below should only be used to obtain estimates. The calculations are based on the following assumptions:- A value of 0.9 kg/dm3 has been used for oil density.- A value of 0.008 has been used as the heat transfer coefficient.- The difference between the air temperature and the temperature of the oil is at least 25°C.Separate decimals with a decimal point.Required input is missing!Tank length = m (metres)Tank width = m (metres)Tank height = m (metres)Starting temperature = °CPower applied = kWTime power applied = hours RESULTTime equilibrium = hoursEquilibrium temp. = °CTemperature = °CPMC Hydraulics Group AB accepts no liability for the consequences that any errors in formulas and software may have!© PMC Hydraulics Group AB 2022
